North Devon free range chicken - locally produced on our farm near Braunton
At Freebird, our free range chickens are reared non-intensively on our farm which is situated on the edge of Braunton, North Devon. They are fed on a diet free from GM, additives and antibiotics and forage on lush pastures.
As we use a slower growing breed, the longer growing time makes for a better texture and a fuller flavour of chicken.
Our chickens are housed in small groups in mobile houses and have access to pasture in daylight hours, only being locked up at night for their own protection.
We believe these small steps give the birds a better life and you a better meal.
